Masters 45+ Bethel Spring Series, 3/13

If the wind seemed powerful for earlier races in the day, the weather man dialed it up to an 11 for the Masters.

The wind ripped apart the field, with some of the stronger racers tossing buckets of hurt on everyone else. Matt Armstrong got out for an early 8 lap solo lead setting up team mate Carl Reglar to come up the road and join him. And in fact that’s just what happened. Reglar took the win and has Team Danbury Audi currently atop the team standings. Matt Armstrong, leading the breakaway pack in this photo, finished 4th after exhausting himself to get his team mate the win.
